Backpacking Continuum

Where do you fall on the continuum?  If all goes to plan I'll be joining the Super Ultralight Club sometime in the coming weeks.  Who's coming with me?

    i fall in the "ultralight"... dont think i will be joining the "super ultralight" for a while since the funding is quite there. good luck on your quest.

    It's going to be really tight. I'll let you know once I get my new pack. My guess is that I'll end up with a 7.5-8 pound pack for our trip to Hawaii. I've found some pretty good deals on some inexpensive gear. Except my sleeping bag, everything I'll be carrying costs less than it's replacement. Only problem is that I already had the other stuff, so that money was spent.
